The PUP Collaboratory consists of two principal enterprises: the Tool-Matching Platform (under development) and the Educational Travel Program (operating). The latter offers custom-designed and operated university study abroad courses in Costa Rica (and surrounding countries), non-profit association trips, and university student internships in animal-based tourism venues such as animal rescue and rehabilitation centers and sanctuaries (upcoming offering). 

Though the Program works in a variety of sites across Costa Rica depending on the needs of each offering, it has three principal sites which are actual PUP members: Tirimbina Biological Reserve, Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve (owned and operated by the Tropical Science Center), and the Wellness Park in La Fortuna.
